September 12 and 13, 2026 Rioseco (Rioseco/Rusecu), the administrative center of the municipality of Sobrescobio, will host the festival El Pueblo. For two days, this small Asturian village will transform into a large festival venue with live music, a local products market, theater, workshops, traditional games, active tourism, and entertainment for children.

📅 Dates: September 12–13, 2026
📍 Location: Rioseco / Rusecu, Sobrescobio, Asturias
The festival combines modern music with rural and cultural life in Asturias. The program features more than a dozen performers and groups, and the musical part is complemented by a large number of activities for the whole family.
🎵 El Pueblo 2026 Music Program
The festival poster includes:
Los Acebos
Xoel López
Baiuca
Los Punsetes
Karavana
Anabel Lee
Catalina Grande Piñón Pequeño
Aldhara
Yamil
Héctor Llamazares
Chanin
La Mala Dentro
Danicat

Las Hijas de Chimo Bayo
Gaiteros del Carbón
Thus, the program is not limited to any one musical genre. The festival poster features well-known representatives of the Spanish alternative scene, electronic music, young projects, and performers connected to contemporary Asturian culture.
Among the most notable participants of the festival are Xoel López, Baiuca, Los Punsetes, and Karavana.
It is worth noting separately Catalina Grande Piñón Pequeño, which the Asturian public could see this summer and at other regional festivals.
🌿 Not just concerts
El Pueblo is conceived not just as a music festival. The organizers have prepared a large additional program, thanks to which one can come to Rioseco for the whole day, including with children.
The poster features:

🧘 Yoga with Betty Ewan — yoga classes;
🧀 Asturian Products Market — market of Asturian products;
🌳 The Worlds of Herny: The Arrival of Busgosu;
🎨 Face Painting — face painting for children;
🎭 Theater — theatrical program;
🛠 Workshops — various master classes;
📷 Photography Exhibition — photo exhibition;
🎯 Traditional Games — traditional games;
⛰ Active Tourism — activities related to active tourism;
🍔 Foodtrucks — food truck area;
🎤 Surprise Opening — special festive surprise opening;
🏊 Pool — swimming pool.
Thus, the festival combines concerts, gastronomy, local products, culture, nature, and family recreation.
🧀 Asturian Products Market
One of the interesting parts of the program is Asturian Products Market.
This fits well into the concept of El Pueblo: the festival takes place not in a large city and uses the rural environment of Sobrescobio as part of the event. Music coexists here with local gastronomy, crafts, and traditions.
For guests, this is an opportunity to combine concerts with getting to know the products of Asturias.
👨👩👧👦 A festival for the whole family
The program shows that the organizers are not only counting on a concert audience.
Face painting, theater, workshops, traditional games, a pool, and other activities make El Pueblo a suitable option for a family weekend trip.
You can come to Rioseco during the day, spend time at additional events and the market, and then stay for the concerts.
⛰ Festival among the mountains of Sobrescobio
The venue is one of the features of El Pueblo.
Rioseco is located in the municipality of Sobrescobio, in the central mountainous part of Asturias. Therefore, instead of the usual urban festival environment, guests are welcomed by a completely different backdrop: mountains, small Asturian villages, and nature.
This combination is also reflected in the official festival poster: modern music coexists with images of mountain landscapes, traditional hórreo, nature recreation, and local life.
