The duel of rear-wheel drives in Navi has a new track: the race will take place on August 30, and the Expo Racing will open the day before.

At the end of August, Navia will once again become a focal point for motorsport fans. The organizers of Duelo de Traseras Villa de Navia 2026 have presented a new urban track for the competition, along with details of the accompanying exhibition Expo Racing Villa de Navia and announced another participant in the race.

The main change this year concerns the track itself. The starting area of Duelo de Traseras is being moved to Sidrería Antolín, which, according to the organizers, has allowed for the use of space for one of the most iconic turns of the new route.

The scheme published by the organizers shows that the track is a fairly compact but technical urban layout with several sharp turns and a long section along one of the streets. The starting part runs directly next to Sidrería Antolín. The area around the track also marks Bimba, Atmósfera Sport Navia, Café Bar La Bolera, and other local establishments.

The organizers particularly emphasize that the advantageous location of Sidrería Antolín and the quality of the surface have allowed for the creation of a new turn, which they hope to make one of the characteristic points of the track.

🏁 Duelo de Traseras Villa de Navia will take place on August 30

The competition will take place on August 30, 2026.

Duelo de Traseras is dedicated to rear-wheel-drive cars and combines elements of high-speed navigation of an urban track with spectacular controlled drifts. For spectators, this format is also interesting because the action takes place directly in an urban environment, rather than at a remote racetrack.

In 2026, the XIII, thirteenth, Duelo de Traseras Villa de Navia will take place.

The new configuration is expected to add freshness to the competition: participants will have to relearn braking points, trajectories, and opportunities for drifting through turns.

🚗 Expo Racing Villa de Navia: exhibition before the race

The racing weekend will start earlier.

On August 29 and 30, 2026, the Expo Racing Villa de Navia will take place at the municipal pavilion Nave Municipal «El Puerto».

Entry to the exhibition is stated to be free.

The organizers announce a fairly wide range of automotive activities:

• scale models of cars;
• exhibition of racing cars;
• racing clothing and merchandise;
• items and works related to motorsport;
• automotive accessories;
• helmets;
• patches and stickers;
• 3D souvenirs;
• motorsport-themed merchandise;
• rally simulator;
• meetings and interviews with drivers.

It is also at the exhibition that the official presentation of Duelo de Traseras Villa de Navia will take place.

Thus, the event effectively stretches over a whole automotive weekend: first, you can see the vehicles and meet the participants at Expo Racing, and then see the cars in action.

🔥 New participant: Manu Pedrayes in a BMW 325i E36

The organizers continue to gradually reveal the list of drivers for the XIII Duelo de Traseras. One of the announced participants is Manu Pedrayes, who will compete under number 0.

His car:

BMW 325i E36.

The pilot introduces Kolunga and is already well known in the Asturian automotive community.

According to the organizers, Manu Pedrayes’ story in motorsport did not begin directly with piloting. At first, he helped friends and worked as an assistant, and then he found himself behind the wheel of a BMW, which he continues to race today.

Over the years, Pedrayes has become a prominent participant in Asturian mountain racing.

The organizers specifically note his spectacular driving style and call him a true “volantista”: a driver capable of navigating long sections in an impressive controlled drift.

That is why he has been entrusted with the zero starting number and the role of the car that opens the track.
